Born & raised in the Metro-Detroit area
THE REASON FOR THIS BLOG:
To provide daily accounts of my girlfriends struggle with what the doctors call LUPUS. Most say she has lupus, some say she doesn't. All I know is that her quality of life is greatly diminished by some lupus-like symptoms and she deserves better.
I simply cannot understand how a physician is expected to understand their patients when they are only afforded the opportunity to have 1 on 1 interactions for an hour at a time once every three months. Therefore, I've created this blog to allow anyone (and hopefully her doctors) the ability to understand her better.
